What is a Keyhole report?

Keyhole reports are how part-exchange managers, sales advisors, asset managers and estate agents inspect homes.

Keyhole is a lightweight inspection system, built from the ground up to be quick to use. It produces consistent, structured reports, photographed and graded on site, so the report is finished before you've left the doorstep.

Who is Keyhole built for?

Anyone who needs professional, consistent reports that are simple to complete, share and store. Tap a role to see how it works for them.

    Private and secure

Reports and photos are created and stored on your own device. Nothing goes to a central data store unless you export and share a report, so only the person who wrote it can open it.

    • Report data and photos stay on the device until you send them.
    • Keyhole keeps none of your report data on its servers, and you don't need an account to use it.
    • With nothing collected centrally, there is far less personal data for you to manage under GDPR.

    How to generate a report

    1. Select the report typeChoose the report that fits the job.
    2. Choose the areas you needRooms are ticked by default, so you only untick what doesn't apply.
    3. Follow the questionsProperty details and the risk checklist come before the first photo.
    4. Add photos and gradesPhotograph each room and grade its condition from 1 to 5.
    5. ExportA PDF sized for email or full resolution, ready to send.

    It really is that simple.

    Reliable, even with no signal

New developments are often patchy for reception, and a tool that needs the cloud is no use when the connection drops. Keyhole creates reports fully offline, so an inspection never has to wait for WiFi.

Each device can keep working for up to 30 days without WiFi or mobile signal. You only need a connection to send the finished report.

      Grading and scoring

Grade each room from 1 to 5 as you go. Keyhole weights every grade by how much that room matters to a buyer, so the kitchen and main bedroom count for more than the hall, and rolls them into a single Doorscore™ out of 5.

Working through a stack of reports? The Doorscore shows at a glance which properties need a closer look now and which can wait, so your time goes where it's needed.

Every report follows the same layout, so the person writing it and the person reading it always know where to look.
